Ahead of their inaugural season, U.S. Soccer granted the USL Super League division-one status alongside the NWSL. This league, however, will play along through the European calendar rather than NWSL's.
With kickoff slated for this August, home openers were released Thursday as anticipation builds for the late summer.

The inaugural clubs – Brooklyn FC, Carolina Ascent FC, Dallas Trinity FC, DC Power FC, Fort Lauderdale United FC, Lexington SC, Spokane Zephyr FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC – will all begin competition in the coming months as rosters are built out and staff is hired.
The entire 2024/25 schedule and the competition's format will be announced in the coming weeks.

“Today’s announcement marks another major milestone for the USL Super League and our clubs, as our fans and players now have a concrete date to circle on their calendars,” said Amanda Vandervort, USL Super League President. “Kicking off this August, directly after the conclusion of the Paris Olympics, reinforces the league’s vision of aligning with the global game. The league and our clubs are committed to delivering a world class experience for our fans and players, and we’re excited to see the on-field action and off-field impact each club has on its community.”

The inaugural season kicks off on August 17 as DC Power FC travel to Carolina Ascent FC for the first-ever game of the league's season. Two other matches will kickoff that weekend, and over the course of a few weeks, each team will debut in front of its home fans.
