Wolves fans have been left split over the future of Patrick Cutrone after his complete omission from the squad to face Manchester United in the FA Cup.
Nuno Espirito Santo made a number of changes for the encounter, with Benny Ashley-Seal starting up front instead.
Raul Jimenez was introduced at half-time, suggesting that the decision to leave Cutrone out was the wrong one.
Indeed, The Athletic’s Tim Spiers, who covers Wolves, reported that he was absent due to the club’s fear of him collecting an injury and jeopardising a potential move away from the club.

And some fans are disappointed that the 22-year-old could soon be packing his bags.
Indeed, several supporters are disappointed with the fact that he hasn’t been given much of a chance in the Midlands.
He has played 12 times in the Premier League but just three of those appearances were starts and he has scored twice, against West Ham United and Chelsea. He cost the Midlands club £16m in July 2019.
Cutrone appeared set to become something of a star in Serie A, scoring 27 goals for the San Siro club and also winning one cap for Italy.
But it does not appear to have worked out at Molineux and a clean break might well be best for every party involved.
Cutrone can attempt to rediscover his mojo and Wolves don’t need to worry about not selecting him.
Meanwhile, Wolves need to buy reinforcements in one position in January.
