According to , the Red Devils are expected to demand a transfer fee in the region of £40-50 million if a club wants to buy Sancho in the summer transfer window. The valuation effectively rules Borussia Dortmund out of the running to sign the winger permanently as they are not in a strong enough financial position to match such a huge fee.

After Sancho's infamous public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag last August, he was sent out on loan to the Bundesliga club during the January transfer window. While Dortmund admire the 23-year-old's abilities, sporting director Sebastian Kehl recently told that they are unlikely to make his stay permanent.
